Fisherman’s Village is a small local music fest in Everett, Washington that highlights small businesses in the area. Since Everett is on the Puget Sound, the design of the poster was intended to look like waves with the title being incorporated into them. The typeface “Deserved” worked well because of its flowy structure. The design strays away from the current branding which is primarily sea life-based, so the modern take was a way to push past the dated style and catch more viewers’ attention. The long list on the back was kept simple using the same typefaces as the front to keep up with the overall system.
