There are a few letters that expand outside of the box so that the idea of continuation is clearly expressed throughout the composition. The use of continuation also contributes to the flow because the pieces strategically connect the letterforms to one another using their differences in size. An example of this could be how the “A” blends into the “P” along with how the “G” blends into the “R”. There is a strong sense of balance between the dark and light parts of the piece that help with value transition along with rhythmic pattern because there is a repetitive shift from dark to light throughout the piece. After the first critique, the sizes of each letterform were taken into consideration which led to the evolution of more variation of size and typefaces to create a better variety overall. There is strong use of directionality throughout the piece which makes the continuation and shape portion of the requirements overall very successful.
